Our Story
We began growing oysters in 2004 and quickly fell in love with the land and water that surround our farm located in Seabeck Washington on the fjord known as Hood Canal. Over the years through much trial and error, we developed a system to grow oysters that can stand up to the strong winds and difficult environment of Hood Canal.
In 2018 We started a working relationship with the Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe located on the shores of colder water of Willapa Bay-the nation’s second-largest estuary.

The Shoalwater Bay Tribe has a deep connection to the Bay and the oysters that were harvested by its many generations.
​The Tribe's philosophy and desire to be a completely organic farm was directly in line with our farming and harvesting practices, and we began a full partnership and launched an independent oyster nursery, beginning the development and certification of several hundred acres of Tidelands owned by the Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe.
New oysters from the nursery were out planted to the Bay in 2021 and several million will be deployed by the end of 2022 and will eventually farm over 10,000,000 oysters annually for markets throughout the United States and the world.
